Registration: A minimum deposit of $500 is required upon registering for the basic MLD certification or full CLT certification program. We will then contact you to set up a payment plan.
CE Credits: We are accredited providers of continuing education through NCBTMB Most states accept these credits for allied health professionals, (i.e. RN, PT/LPTA, OT/COTA, CMT/LMT etc.) It is up to you to check the requirements of your state.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds can be received up to 30 days before the course starts with the reduction of a non-refundable $100-500 deposit depending on the program. Within 30 days of course start date, the amount can be credited toward enrollment in a future course.

This advanced 2-day live or virtual course trains licensed manual therapists (LMTs, PTs, PTAs, CLTs, etc.) in specialized techniques for post-cosmetic surgery care. The curriculum covers the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system, an overview of common cosmetic surgical procedures (face, neck, and body) and their post-operative implications, and evidence-informed manual therapies to improve recovery. Through interactive lectures, demonstrations, and case discussions, participants learn to manage post-surgical edema, pain, fibrosis, seromas, and scars. Emphasis is placed on Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), scar mobilization, compression garment strategies, and patient education – all aligned with current best practices and Virginia Board requirements. Upon completion, therapists will be equipped to safely and effectively support cosmetic surgery patients’ healing process, optimizing outcomes and patient well-being. Lipedema is a chronic connective-tissue disorder characterized by disproportionate painful fat accumulation, swelling, and altered lymphatic dynamics—most often affecting women and frequently misdiagnosed or overlooked in clinical practice. Today, providers across disciplines are advancing lipedema care through improved diagnostics, evidence-based therapies, and innovative treatment models that transform outcomes for patients.
This CEU event brings together leading lymphedema physicians, lipedema research experts, and certified lymph therapists to explore the latest in pathophysiology, clinical evaluation, and cutting-edge treatment strategies. This advanced update includes new evidence and clinical techniques for recognizing and treating Lipedema. Topics include differential diagnosis from obesity and lymphedema, conservative management through manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), compression strategies, exercise, and anti-inflammatory nutrition. New 2024–2025 research emphasizes fibrotic tissue modulation, hormonal and microangiopathic influences, pain management, and post-liposuction rehabilitation protocols.
