You Can Help the Lymphedema Treatment Act Pass

Therapists and Patients:  Do you know a special person who’s life has been affected by lymphedema?  Is there a special nurse, therapist or doctor that has made a difference in your care?  How about a patient who has taught you new tips and tricks as a lymphedema therapist.  As a Lymphedema Advocate I encourage you to follow the links below to share your story and help spread awareness and hope for those dealing with this lifelong but treatable condition.

What is Your Lymphedema Story?

To win the hearts and minds of our legislators we must educate them.  No one is better to do that than you, by telling your story.

Your personal story is very important. Don’t worry if you feel you aren’t a good a writer. Your point of view is exactly what is needed to persuade Congress to pass the Lymphedema Treatment Act.

You can submit it through the My Lymphedema Story page. Stories will be assembled and submitted to the Health Subcommittee members when a hearing is held on our bill.

I encourage you to read other stories of people suffering from lymphedema by visiting the Lymphedema Treatment Act Blog. I look forward to reading your stories!
