Neuro-Lymphatic Therapy

The next class is on February 8th-9th, 2025, Virtual, live (synchronous). 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (EST), $349.

We are setting other 2024 course dates now!  When you inquire, please let us know your state or if your facility would like to host the course (8 participant minimum)

Live Seminars:

Private, on-site courses are held on request.

About:

In this course, students will learn how to manage symptoms of degenerative CNS conditions with the use of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and cranial sacral techniques to mobilize and remove protein and debris from the brain. Students will be able to identify indications for treatment and implement specific treatment protocols to affect symptom reduction and increase function for clients with MS, Parkinson’s, Dementia, and more. Wonderful treatment addition for therapists trained in MLD

Course Objectives:

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to interpret the anatomy of the lymphatics in the CNS and the anatomy of the CNS as it relates to the physiological manifestation of diseases.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the manifestation and presentation of MS, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and other degenerative processes of the brain.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to evaluate the presentation of symptoms in these processes and how MLD therapy can affect change and increased function.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to establish treatment protocols for patients suffering from the manifestations of degenerative CNS disease by mobilizing proteins and debris on the brain via MLD.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to properly implement the manual therapy protocols necessary for manipulation of the CNS based on cranial and lymphatic anatomy.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to demonstrate patient education techniques related to soft-tissue mobilization, exercise, side-effect compensation, and the other needs of CNS care patients.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to relate the basic anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system to that of a patient in a debilitated state due to the CNS restrictions.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will understand how lymphatic congestion may impact cognition and lead to CNS pathologies

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to explain the gold standards in lymphatic care in a patient that has had lymph node removal or impairment.

  • By the end of the course, the attendee will be able to review and gain familiarity with current (last five years) CNS research, the lymphatics of the CNS, and its interrelation with cumulative, degenerative conditions in the body.
